our organic henna paste is all natural and freshly prepared for every order and appointment. all paste is crafted with simple, high quality, safe ingredients, mixed to consistency, and tested for stain quality before packaging into hand-rolled cones. good aftercare is essential to rich and long lasting stains. all of our henna products are created with this in mind. deep stains are 50% quality paste and 50% aftercare — we cannot guarantee deep stains if aftercare is not followed.
all orders are batched and created on a weekly basis for pickup or local delivery in marblehead.

please note: henna is perishable! store henna cones in freezer to preserve freshness for up to 6 months. defrost cone at room temperature for 15 minutes. return cone to freezer when done. you can use your cone over and over again!
artist’s tip: as you use the paste, the cone becomes floppy. it is helpful to roll down the top of the cone and secure with tape to keep the cone feeling firm and full. it is easier for the hand muscles to work with a full cone.

instructions for use

crafted by the artist with rosewater and white sugar. sold in glass bottles to minimize use of plastic. store in refrigerator to preserve freshness.
used to seal and protect your design. the sugar encourages the henna to stick to the skin longer and prevents cracking and dryness.
once the design is no longer shiny and wet, hold the bottle 8-12 inches away and gently mist 1-2 sprays on the paste. re-mist periodically to prevent cracking and dryness. avoid over-saturating the stain, as this will lead to smudging and bleeding of the paste. wrap your design in toilet paper before going to bed to prevent rubbing. rosewater sealant can be used again and again—it should last through many designs since so little is needed.

after the henna paste is removed, apply revitalizing oil often to the skin to hydrate and enrich your stain for its duration. good aftercare is critical for the a rich stain.
